Notes - Wilfred was "Mentioned In Despatches" - see London Gazette 25/10/1945, page 5212 and recieved the 'Oak Leaf' Gallantry Award. He was also captured and made a Prisoner of War, POW No. 11875 and sent to Stalag 357, Oerbke (Nr Fallingbostel).
